South Nyanza Sugar Company Fitters Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities will entail:

i. Machining of parts for repairs and maintenance works;

ii. Inspecting equipment to identify defects and implementing rectification;

iii. Implementing preventive maintenance programs;

iv. Attending to and repairing equipment breakdowns to ensure machine availability.

v. Monitoring operations to detect defects;

vi. Assisting in undertaking new machine and equipment installations;

vii. Inspecting running equipment to identify defects and implementing rectification;

Job Specification;

 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade of D+ or its equivalent from a
recognized institution;

 Three (3) years’ relevant work experience.

 Government Trade Test I (GTT I) in General Fitting, or equivalent qualification from
a recognized institution;

 Proficiency in computer applications;

 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
