South Nyanza Sugar Company Clinical Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

i. Implementing Company’s Health policies and programmes;

ii. Ensuring provision of promotive, preventive and curative medical care;

iii. Referring patients for outside specialized medical attention as appropriate;

iv. Organizing and conducting health education and counselling to the community and
patients;

v. Providing clinical and family health care services in health institutions and communities
through history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis;

vi. Treating and managing diseases and conditions;

vii. Monitoring patients and providing necessary guidance and counseling;

viii. Undertaking disease surveillance, control and management in liaison with other
stakeholders;

ix. Providing clinical outreach and school health services;

x. Provision of specialized services.

Job Specifications

 Three (3) years relevant work experience

 Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or equivalent from a recognized
institution;

 At least one (1) year internship from a recognized Hospital

 Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers’ Council;

 Valid Professional Practice License from the Clinical Officers’ Council

 Proficiency in Computer application;

 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
