Proper accounting system and a proper financial transaction system; and ensuring Standard Operational Procedures Compliance.
Accounts Officer Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain financial security by following internal controls.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements, budget performance, and interim grant financial reporting
Maintain internal and external customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivable and work closely
Prepare and analyze the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports per program and department.
Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer’s benefit costs, accruals and prepaid expenses.
Conceptual understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards

Location: Kisumu, Bugoma and Kisii
Reports to: (Regional) Sales Manager
Manage the performance of the Client Service Officers, efficient operation of the branch and overall client satisfaction in accordance with Solar Now Standard Operational Procedures.
Responsibilities for the Branch Team Leader Job
Build a strong and winning team; train and coach the juniors.
Design and implement the branch marketing strategy and weekly/ monthly plan
Responsible for sales, installation & client relationships
Market for Solar Now products through generating quality leads by contacting potential buyers of solar systems and fill in the lead form.
Lead Conversation: Follow up on Branch leads (after 1 week) & HQ leads (within 24 hours, from Incoming Media; references, no depositors, rejections and others). Note comments in SAS for easy follow up.
Client follow-up: Contact existing clients and offer/get: Replacements; Upgrades; Referrals.
Assessment: Fill in the application form and terms, make quotations and decide on payment terms with the client
Assess credit applicants
Receive systems and other products for the branch from Logistics
Carry out installations following proper Solar Now procedures
Provide support to the Service team in preventing and solving cases.
Branch Team Leader Job Requirements
Degree in marketing or equivalent
Technical (solar) experience is an advantage (technical diploma holders are encouraged to apply)
Suitable candidates must speak Kiswahili and the native language in the specified region
Be ready to live and work in the region.

Responsibilities for the Technical Officer Job
Contact potential clients to quote for specialist products
Carry out installations following proper Solar Now procedures
Provide support to the Service team in preventing and solving cases
Responsible for sales, installation & client relationships
Do repair of products if possible.
Request for supplier warranty when products failure is established
Discard non- repairable products
Technical Officer Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in electrical engineering OR equivalent
Technical (solar) experience is MUST.
Suitable candidates must speak the native language in the specified region
Be ready to live and work in the region
At least 2 years working experience in Solar Installation or related field in a reputable organisation
Experience in field or upcountry is a Must
Experience in Renewable energy business.
5. Regional Sales Manager Jobs at Solar Now
The Regional Sales Manager in SolarNow is the leader of a region and reports to the Sales Manager. The Sales Department contains a Corporate Desk and several regional sales divisions (currently 3) with several retail branches both expected to expand. The branch team leaders of these branches report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Reporting daily to the Sales Manager about sales activities in your branches;
Supervising (now) 3 Branch Team Leaders in the design and execution of their branch monthly work plans;

Collaborating with other head office desks (Marketing, Credit, Technical, etc.), sharing relevant information and implementing new projects or policies;
Growing officers and team leaders in their careers, by training and coaching, as well as detailed activity supervision and the analysis of growth barriers;

Resilience under pressure, flexible thinking and ability to adapt to change.
The candidate has completed a BSc and MSc/MBA degree at an accredited university.
