BRIDGE, Building Rural Income through Inclusive Dairy Business Growth in Ethiopia, is a five-year dairy development project (2018-2023), implemented by SNV Ethiopia in partnership with Wageningen University-Livestock Research.

The impact of the project is to contribute to an “improved performance in the dairy sector in Ethiopia”, for 120,000 farming households, with four main outcomes:
(1) Improved milk production,
(2) Improved milk collection, processing, and marketing,
(3) Improved consumption of nutritious foods, and
(4) Improved enabling environment.

The project will work in 4 regional states: Oromia, Amhara, SNNP and Tigray.

SNV Ethiopia is looking for dynamic, experienced, talented, energetic, flexible, open and ready to learn candidates for a driver position for its operation.

Summary of the Job (Key activities)

Vehicle operation and safety

Driving

Technical maintenance

Administration of log book, fuel, incidents, and accidents

Support Finance Team – Payment of taxes, Cash transfer, and other bank-related activities

Support logistics and procurements – pro forma collection, picking purchased items, conduct petty cash purchase, payment to suppliers,

Support on liaison activities related to Immigration, Charity Society Agency, Labour and Social Affairs, Revenue and Customs Authority

Job Requirements

Completion of high school and/or Vocational training in Auto Mechanics

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in driving 4WD field vehicles

3rd-grade driving license,

Good knowledge of preventive maintenance

Punctuality

Trustworthiness

Basic Computer Knowledge in outlook, word and excel is preferable
