Job Summary:

SLS Solutions International Ltd is seeking a dynamic and organized professionals to join our team as a Collections Officer and play a crucial role in managing the clients’ portfolios and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments.

Locate and contact debtors to ensure payments are made by the debtors.

Ensure demand letters are sent to the defaulters in time.

Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans with the debtors.

Conduct field visits.

Investigate and resolve queries from debtors.

Update account status and database regularly on the collections system.

Work within the legal guidelines of debt collection.

Prepare weekly and monthly portfolio collection progress reports to be forwarded to the Line manager.

Participate in regular portfolio reviews to discuss recovery plans for the assigned Loan Portfolio.

Support organization in achieving business objective through regular performance by hitting or exceeding the set target.

Participate in promoting the firm’s image through customer care and good customer relations while executing enshrined duties in accordance with the firm’s customer service charter.

Assist and participate in Internal and External audit reviews and also contribute to management responses.

Adopt proper records management principles as defined by the firm in terms of upkeep and filing of documentation.

Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Minimum of credits in English and Math’s O’ level.

Fluent in English and any other local language.

Basic knowledge in computer applications like MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

High level of Integrity.

Customer oriented.

Teamwork oriented.

Ability to work under pressure and overtime.

The applicant should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in any field
