Requirements for the Generator Technician Job
Must have a diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering. generator technician main role is to do maintenance, installation, service and repair to a varied range of diesel driven generating sets, diesel generator control systems and associated equipment for the company.
He/she will perform generator service and maintenance, including but not limited to: oil filters, electrical connections and hydraulic components by also ensuring the following:- ensure spares or materials lists are compiled in good time for work assigned.
Ensure all resources allocated are safely and securely stored while in possession and ensure that returned in a reasonable and appropriate timescales.
Carrying out site visits as and when requested by the supervisor.
Carry out on-call responsibilities on a rota basis.
Any other duties assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Experience: must have 2 years working Experience in fmcg industry

A diploma in electrical or electro mechanical engineering or any related field.
Electrical technician main role is:
To perform maintenance and services of plant machineries, including installation, inspection, repairing, and
Testing of the equipment’s by performing the following duties:- installation, maintenance and repairing of all Company’s equipment and machines. Ensure optimum usage of spare parts. conduct inspections on machines for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations.
Assemble and testing
Maintains electrical and electronic machines.
A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a food processing plant preferred.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Technician Job
Diagnose malfunction systems apparatuses and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the needs for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes. test electrical systems to ensure safety.
Should guide, induct and direct machine operators on key technical electrical areas. Maintain job worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts utilized, time expended and type of work performed.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Maintain all equipment manuals, equipment warranties, and tool inventories.
Review work orders to ensure proper documentation.
Ensure adherence to good safety standards. conduct annual performance appraisals, and make appropriate employment recommendations.
Coordinate with contractors in providing contract services.
Assist with the supervision of installation and commissioning of plant equipments.
Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
Work closely with the production supervisor to review and prioritize work requests.
