Launch of Call for Proposals

SIFA - Skills Initiative for Africa provides funding on a competitive basis for the implementation of innovative and sustainable skills development initiatives.

It is for initiatives, which directly engage the private sector, address market needs, and can have a regional Impact.

Initiatives must align with national strategies.

SIFA is an initiative of the African union Commission (AUC) supported by the German Government to strengthen occupa-tional prospects of young people in Africa.

The African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) is implementing the SIFA Financing Facility for Skills Development.

The launch of the call for proposal for Funding is in collaboration with the Ministry of Education - State Department of Vocational and Technical Training.

In Kenya, AUDA-NEPAD in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will launch a call for proposals under SIFA Funding for large skills development investment projects proposed by Kenyan technical and vocational training entities in partnership with private sector companies.
