impact on hundreds of thousands of farmers in Kenya. We are seeking to recruit a committed Driver in Narok.
Responsibilities
Provide reliable driving services by using assigned vehicle for the transport of authorized staff members, goods & documents
Support the field staff in route planning and delivery of set targets
Responsible for day to day operations, cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle; checks oil, fuel, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc
Maintain a daily log of all journeys made recording mileage, date, passengers, odometer readings, fuel consumption, oil changes etc
Notify Shop supervisor of service requirement of the vehicle
Safeguard and account for a range of basic tools (spanners, tyre lever, first aid kit, keys etc) and other items required to maintain vehicle operations
Follow established rules and regulations for field deliveries and in cases of an accident to report immediately to
the supervisor on any apparent problems
Perform basic office related tasks such as photocopying and maintaining stores when required including
delivery/collection of various goods and documents
Responsible for recording and management of stock to avoid loss, expiries & damages.
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification, skills & competencies
Completed Secondary school education with a KCSE certificate or equivalent
A valid clean driving license with minimum 3-years’ experience. Experience in defensive driving is desirable
Experience in sales is an advantage
Ability to plan and organize
Excellent time management
Good communication skills and customer service orientation
Team player
Flexibility to work odd hours & weekends
