Siaya County Public Service Senior Accountant Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will be required to deal with accounting operations in an Accounting Unit.

Work will involve verification of vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulations and preparation of simple management reports

He/she will be responsible for the safe custody of Government records and assets under him/her

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option)

Passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants (K) Examination

Good knowledge in the professional field of specialization.

Good communication skills.

Good financial reporting.

Good organizational and supervisory skills.

Team player.

Records Management skills.

Additional Requirements

All applicants are expected to attach copies of the following additional documents

Tax compliance certificates

Clearance from HELB where necessary

Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission

Clearance from the CRB.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
