Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and networks with , clients and the media

  • Answer enquiries from the media and other organizations

  • Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs for relevant information and disseminate the same for appropriate action where necessary.

  • Disseminate County Government information to the population at the local level

  • Assist ward administrators and village administrators in public participation activities

  • Inform the public on County Government policies and interventions

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration/ Business Administration or social sciences from a recognized institution

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage

  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience

  • Computer application certificate
