Siaya County Assistant Engineer (Roads/Structural) Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

The officer will work under close supervision of an experienced officer to perform the following duties and responsibilities; -

Preliminary design, supervision of construction and maintenance of classified and unclassified roads

Designing, preparation of drawings and supervision of construction of civil and structural works for simple projects.

Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervision

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this position, a candidate must: -

Be a Kenyan Citizen

Be in possession of a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage

Be Registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a graduate engineer or its relevant equivalent and in good standing.

Have trained on Environmental health and safety precaution by a reputable engineering organization.

Have Certificate in Computer Applications.
