Siaya Bondo Water and Sanitation Company Ltd was established in 2006 as a Company to provide clean, safe, affordable drinking water and Sanitation services in Siaya County.

We are seeking to recruit exceptional employees with strong administrative, organizational and leadership skits to fill the following positions.

  • Electrol Mechanical Engineer

    Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput Lead in proposal design, and construction of projects and electro-mechanical engineering activities,
  • Develop project specifications and develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs;
  • Undertake technical cost-saving, and constructability reviews of electro-mechanical design packages from internal engineering, outsourced sub-contractor engineering and equipment factories,
  • Monitor and commission equipment machinery and systems and provide reports as required
  • Conduct inspection/ investigation of all electrical and mechanical systems and assets for preventive maintenance,
  • Oversee and supervise all electro mechanical works including planning and scheduling all preventative and scheduled repair and maintenance works as required and ensure minimal downtime,
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the work of sub-contractors in order to ensure that their work is properly done and completed as required, Generate equipment specifications, monitor vendor technical compliance and witness acceptance testing as
    applicable,
  • Ensure procurement of necessary materials including managing for proper usage, safe storage and inventory,
  • Prepares technical reports for proper documentation and provides updates to the Manager.

    Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Must possess BSc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with five experience in the relevant field with at least two years at Supervisory level.
  • Be a registered member of a professional body.
