ResponsibilitiesReceiving, storing and issuing goods to all drugs while keeping proper records of all transactions.
Regularly running items below re-order level report and raising timely purchase requisition orders.
Ensure the store is clean and well organized
Verify ledgers, invoices, statements and supporting
Inspecting and verifying items received from suppliers against purchase order specification and supplier delivery documents.
Transferring material commodities to respective storage shelves and departments whilst ensuring proper handling, shelving and coding of materials/items.
Maintain the First Expiry First out (FEFO) and First in First Out (FIFO) systems for storage and issuance of items.
Assist in drug spot checks in the organization.
Participate in carrying out daily, quarterly and random drug stock takes.
Ensure that any drug stock variances are thoroughly investigated, documented and resolved in a timely manner.
Any other duties or tasked delegated by clinic manager Manager
Qualifications
Diploma in Inventory Management
Diploma/Certificate in Pharmaceutical will be an added advantage
Other required qualifications (unique/job specific)
Knowledge is system Management is a plus

Responsibilities
Prepare the laboratory equipment and specimens for tests.
Prepare clients for specimens’ collection.
Receive, collect, label and register patients’ specimens.
Undertake quality control measures on working reagents to ensure conformity with set norms and standards.
Prepare, store and ensure availability and optimum utilization of reagents.
Document all processes and results to ensure availability of supportive information and give reports on the same.
Implement all set stock control procedures to ensure accountability.
Maintain high standards in good laboratory practice, laboratory safety, and laboratory hygiene.
Process and analyse specimens for special techniques including viral load and CD4 counts.
Write, record and verify results.
Ensure superior customer experience to all internal and external community members.
Management and maintenance scheduling of Laboratory equipment
Qualifications
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution by KMLTTB Professional Qualifications
Registered member of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologists Board
A certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution Other required qualifications (unique/job specific)
At least 3 years’ experience in laboratory work

SHOFCO Pharmacy Clinical Officer Jobs in Kenya
Responsibilities
Offer health care services to patients by taking history, examining patients, carry out investigations, prescribe treatment, follow-up of patients, and give health education talks.
Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Guide and counsel patients, clients, and staff on health issues.
Respond to enquiries relating to patients, lab requests, x-rays, prescription requests, etc.
Coordinate appointments for specialist referrals, x-rays, lab tests, etc. and convey pertinent instructions and information to the patient.
Attend to clinical care centres patients and manage opportunistic infections.
Conduct continuous medical education and health educations as may be required.
Work with other team members and staff of other cadres in ensuring quality service provision.
Be accountable for any equipment assigned and report to the line manager as may be required.
Collect data and compile clinical reports.
Collect and compile data for research on clinical services.
Undergo coaching by more experienced clinical officers to achieve professional competences.
Apply the SHOFCO’s health standard treatment and patient management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
Registered clinical officer preferably trained at KMTC
Registration with clinical officer’s council with Current Practicing license is mandatory Other required qualifications (unique/job specific)
3 years’ experience in a busy health facility
Basic HIV training/ experience
Ability to : Take medical history of the patient,
Perform a thorough physical examination, Order appropriate investigations, Make correct diagnosis, Prescribe and treat and Do patient follow-up
Perform minor surgical procedures

Responsibilities
Organise outreaches in the community.
Provide mental health screenings and initial assessments to clients.
Coordinate and collaborate with the primary care providers to improve health outcomes.
Coordinate external client referrals and follow up to ensure continuity of care.
Provide crisis intervention, visit discharged patients and follow up on sensitive cases.
Prepare socio-psychiatric history information, psychosocial assessment, and social work treatment plans for use in pre-admission screening and diagnosis.
Develop long-term and short-term intervention plans consistent with the client’s needs, strengths, diversity and life experiences; and social and emotional factors.
Use a variety of appropriate formal and informal tools and techniques including observations and interviews to evaluate the progress and performance of clients and families.
Investigate child abuse or neglect cases and take authorized protective action where necessary.
Refer patient, client, or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and to provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education.
Qualifications
Diploma in sociology, social work, psychology, mental health or an equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a social worker, preferably in an informal urban settlement
Ability to establish and maintain the confidence and cooperation of others.
Ability to foster and maintain positive public relations with the community.
Experience in the following areas: Psychosocial assessment, Individual therapy, Group therapy, Individual and group counselling, Short-term, evidence based counselling, Crisis Intervention, working in a clinic setting
Be comfortable working with families in informal settlements

At least three years of music teaching experience
Proven ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a diverse team of teachers
Should have composed and presented music items up to National level
