Shemu Group is a conglomerate company composed of Shemu PLC, Asveza PLC and other functional private limited companies with a fast growth track record. The Companies in the group engaged in manufacturing (liquid soap, bar soap, Edible oil and shortening products), retail service providing, printing, trading and engineering.

Based on this, our corporate office want to hire competent, energetic, enthusiastic and capable applicants for the post we have.

Major duties

The HR Administration Associate reports to HRM and OD Director of the Shemu Group and expected to organize and perform all HR Administration activities of corporate office and issues directed from factory in Dire Dawa. Moreover that, his/her duties include;

  • Check references and backgrounds of candidates for different positions in recruitment.
  • Write letters (Official and personal) as per the forms and procedures of Shemu.
  • Arrange incoming applications and make first-phase screening both from internet and post office and shortlist selected applicants.
  • Arrange PR/PO of the director and related documents in box files.
  • Organize and document all the personnel files of Corporate Office on time and regular basis.
  • Copy and keep documents for payroll information daily and monthly.
  • Audit factories personnel files and check the fulfillment of all the mandatory documents and inform to the concerned HR person on time.
  • Follow-up the approval
    of exit-clearances and other documents with the concerned bodies.
  • Work closely with the HR team and be active learner.
  • Perform other tasks and support the team as per the assignment by the immediate Supervisor.
  • Organize induction training with HRD Division of Corporate Office.
  • Organize and maintain monthly payroll information for all Companies under Shemu Group.

    Job Requirements

  • Minimum of B.A. degree in HRM, Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Personnel Management or related field of study from recognized university of which 1/2 years of experience related position.

  • Very strong interest to grow professionally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Clerical ability
  • Good in document handling
  • Work under pressure and attention to details.
  • Computer literate especially word and excel.
  • Literate in use of ERP package(Like Microsoft Nav)
  • Working experience in manufacturing sector is preferable
