In this six-month contract position, you will support the Occupational Health Nurse and Country Health Manager drive and deliver SDSA’s Culture of Health by enhancing partnering with the business thus optimising personal, business and workplace Health. The aim is to deliver better quality, faster health related decisions, bringing value to the business, the individual & the workplace.
Responsibilities
The aim and the focus is to build a Chain of Care for Shell, contractors, ventures, families and communities that can increase Human Performance through:
Empowering people to be at their best and perform at their best.
Applying proven science to deliver optimal value to the workplace and business.
The ability to also deliver through a service provider network
Innovation and creativity as demanded by the 4th industrial revolution
Principal Accountability
Measurable KPI’s will include:
Drive, through digitization, the application and collation of Baseline and Progress reports/surveys as the interventions/programmes/strategies are delivered to teams/individuals and ultimately the organisation
Being able to showcase project management skills for each of the CoH programmes
Marketing and driving primarily the Human Performance and Care Strategy and its programmes to increase uptake and most importantly the impact across teams through the HPC Champion network
Supporting the delivery of Healthy Workplace and Shared
Value/Community Health Programmes
Driving the function’s finances and ensuring that the end-end Accounts Payable process is adhered to by all, thus ensuring that service providers are paid within the agreed payment terms
Administrative duties associated with day-day delivery within the role
Potential Challenges:
Recognition that Head Office is not the main area of focus but that this is a national role
Managing both internal and external partnerships from the various SH vendors, to health organizations and communities where we have Shared Value projects
Influencing, with OHNP’s guidance, our internal stakeholders and forums to leverage existing resources to further influence the Healthy Workplace agenda (#Eat Well #Move More)
Requirements
Passion for a role to make a real difference for our employee’s, our contractors and our neighbors’ lives through changed collective behaviors
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A Diploma/equivalent tertiary level qualification
Exceptional people skills with strong ability to collaborate and influence through others
IT skills – SAP + basics (Word/ppt/Excel) + an understanding of the 4IR
Project management will be beneficial
Creative problem-solving, facilitation, and virtual team delivery skills
Resilience would be an advantage
