Sheer Logic Project Manager (Agri Business) Jobs in Mwanza, Tanzania

Main Purpose:

Plan and Implement projects to strengthen our value chain partnership to deliver a customized solution to smallholder farmers in Tanzania.

Location: Tanzania – Mwanza

Direct Reports: 2

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Design, implement and scale up the partnership project.

Identify geography, Partners, and farmers for the Smallholder projects in Tanzania for the approved crops.

Prepare detailed workflow for the full season for each crop

Identify and onboard consultants into programme as required.

Registration of farmers well before the season

Carry out monthly farmer training programs.

Develop the tour plan and field visit plan of his/her team.

Identify and onboard Agri Entrepreneurs

Prepare business plan for Bayer and the partners.

Develop and share the monthly progress reports

Key Working Relations

Crop Science Commercial – East Africa

CS Functions – Sales, Marketing, Market development

External Partners

Distributors in Country

Qualifications & Competencies

A university degree, MSc. preferred in Agriculture

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in sales and marketing.

Candidates with experience in smallholder segment would be preferred.

Ability to relate well with people at different levels of authority.
