Serenity Centre is a pioneer NGO registered under the NGO Statue 1989 with a mission to provide holistic services to the individuals, families and communities affected by substance use and related illnesses.

From a humble beginning since August 2001.

Serenity Centre has continued to offer a number of rehabilitation programs to individuals Who struggle With Alcoholism, drug addiction (Heroin, Cocaine, and Marijuana,) prescribed medication and many related substances.

ln order to offer its services efficiently and effectively, the Center seeks to recruit a suitably qualified person on full time basis for the vacant position below;

Addiction Management Counselor
Responsibilities

  • Keep a register of clients assigned; Maintain records about the clients progress;
  • Provide counselling services to clients and outreach programs to families and communities;
  • Prepare reports on clients for proper management of their treatment and rehabilitation:
  • Provide life skills for both the client and family members, participate in group counseling and Carryout education programs for families, communities and clients.

    Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology.
  • Knowledge of addiction management.
  • Experience of 5 years working in the same or related field.
  • Knowledge of Swahili and or French language
    will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants must be 30 years and above
