Job Description

Senselet: Senselet Food Processing is looking for ambitious, eager-to-learn and talented employees who want to take responsibility and accountability in actively build our company and brands.

Senselet is a Dutch-owned company making potato-based snacks and food products for the Ethiopian market and aims to become a leading food processing company.

Currently, our modern processing facility, using the latest European processing technology, is located in Tulofa, near Sheno town (65 km from Addis Ababa) while our office is located in CMC, Addis Ababa.

Targets and deliverables

Execution of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and finance and accounting control
Active risk management and proactive advisory to management including financial modelling

Executing and monitoring application for foreign currency for imports

Ensuring continuous finance department process and policy optimization

Ensuring inter department finance process and communication optimization

Executing effective management of budgets

Effective forecasting and planning of cash

Ensuring effective internal audit processes

Ensuring effective external audit processes

Organizational structure

Reporting to: general manager (controlling and auditing) and finance manager (finance and

optimization)

Place of work: Addis Ababa (with occasional working days at factory)

Start date:

15 October 2019 (or as soon as possible)

Job Requirements

Requirements

Education: minimum BA degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: minimum 5 years of relevant work experience for a private organization in a finance and controlling management role of which minimum 2 years in a managerial position.

Technical skills: fluent in Amharic and English (speaking and writing), analytically strong, strong financial knowledge and skills, strong administration skills, strong knowledge on Ethiopian rules & regulations, strong computer skills, strategic thinker, very good planner.

Social skills: proven leadership skills, able to motive and drive the finance department, high level of integrity and accountability, able to adapt and show leadership under challenging circumstances, serious and hard-working, eager to learn, good feedback mentality, very strong communications skills, very structured

Entrepreneurial skills: proven ability and experience to set up a financial business (unit), flexible and autonomous leader, leading by example and actively involved in operations.

Candidates are required to have good references.

Candidates who have worked for an international company are preferred.
