Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the organization of key client projects.
The Project Manager will be in charge of ensuring our teams complete all projects on time and within budget.
He or she will prevent scope creep while also managing individual tasks for their respective teams with keen attention to detail to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
As our Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
Responsibilities
Monitoring & Coordination:
Coordinate internal resources (cross-discipline team members) and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the stipulated scope and budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Report and escalate to management as and when needed
Strategic:
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
Develop and manage a detailed project plan/schedule and track the work plan/progress of the project
Use appropriate verification techniques and industry best practices to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs throughout the entire project execution.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Risk Management:
Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
Customer Centric:
Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
Manage the relationship with the clients and all stakeholders
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Technical Responsibilities:
Oversee all the technical aspects of the project
Identify the technical resources needed for the project and coordinate with key stakeholders to have those resources in place.
Assign and monitor the work of technical personnel
Maintain technical alignment with key stakeholders
Ensure all technical devices or platforms used by the team are in their top shape at all times
Measure project performance using appropriate project management systems, tools, and techniques
to identify areas of improvement.
Primary Relationships
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO/COO)
Manages: Key client projects, coordinates with team members
Requirements and Skills
A Master's in Business Administration or a related field is desirable.
Must have 8-10 years of project management and related experience
Educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering, or business management with knowledge in managing technical projects; since ours is a technical project manager
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Proven working experience as a project administrator/manager in the information technology sector preferably
Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
A team player and have a problem-solving aptitude
A background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis is important.
