Job DescriptionPosition SummarySales and Business Development Executive is responsible for marketing SMIM’s products to consumers or clients. Develop campaigns, works with the product development team and participates in launching and promoting new services or products.
Duties and Responsibilities Learn surveying skills from the Leader, Sales and Business Development /others
Generate Product/Service from inception to commercialization for customers as well as follow-up (actual and potential)
Works with Company Local and International suppliers, Partners, and Markets to deliver quality service
Participate in cross-functional teams to execute a service development plan and demonstrate Productive Teamwork
Responsible for promoting SMIM’s services to an audience/client
Show what SMIM services are, how it functions, takes questions and attempts to persuade consumers/clients to buy SMIM’s services
Meet with clients to ascertain marketing & sales and generate any feedbacks of the customer
Develop data collecting tools that could include questionnaires and surveys
Offer insights about SMIM’s product potentials (sales qualification for internal use)
Examine campaign’s return on investment within the specific market segment and reports to DGMMBD
Determine Brand perceptions and reputations
Evaluate market penetration
Identify potential market with regards to positive financial outcomes to increase profit
Assists in developing sales strategies and pursue proper implementation of the selling process
Maintain and Enhance SMIM’s Image, Reputation through excellent service provision and public demand for the service and through the use of promotional mixes
Help develop advertising brochures, sales plans, and Service Promotion
Take corrective actions based on the Monthly Performance Feedback
Advise on pricing strategies based on educated information gathered through market studies
Keep management abreast of intelligence work conducted on the market and competitive analysis
Maintains Customer Retention Management Strategy
Ensure Company revenue and Customer Satisfaction goals are
met in a cost-effective way
Create ads, webcasts, website articles, and direct mails in coordination with the database and Record Management Officer and ensure proper database management system
Implement Brand Marketing guideline in trademarks, logos, and publications
Ascertain that Service settlements from individual clients and International Partners are collected within the set/agreed timeframe. Accordingly, keep a clean up-to-date, clear and neat Statement of Account for the respective Market segment, send appropriate reminders to International Partners, use these as discussion tool initiations and work closely with finance to adhere to a cost-effective and efficient collection process are part of the incumbent responsibilities.
Develop, maintain and initiate strong international marketing communications and partnership building within the scope of service of SMIM
Makes sure that files operation reference and related information are recorded and cost estimate maintained on Peachtree prior to passing the file to the Data Records Management officer
Makes analysis on each job profitability and reports on monthly basis to DGMMBD
Work in line with the Product or Service Mission, Vision, and Values of SMIM
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Economics, Management, or related
Minimum of two years of experience in sales and business development
Excellent command of the English Language
French, German, Spanish and Arabic language speakers preferable
Good interpersonal relationship skills
Willingness to work in a dynamic logistics business environment
