Roles and Responsibilities• Driving motor vehicles (pick up and Tata truck} to transport staff clients and visitors to designated locations.
• Regularly cleaning and polishing the vehicle, changing tyres as well as making minor repairs or adjustments. Undertaking routine and preventive maintenance of motor vehicle by checking and topping up the level of fuel, oil, water, battery electrodes and tyre pressure before operating the vehicle.
• Maintaining accurate records of the motor vehicle‘s daily activity showing journey, mileage, fuel, oil and signature of authorising officer to account for all the journeys made.
• Performing miscellaneous errands such as collecting and delivering
• Performing miscellaneous errands such as collecting and delivering mail and other items as well as buying goods, supplies, consumer items, etc.
• Reporting motor vehicle accident to the traffic police and the officer in charge, obtaining police abstract report and completing insurance accident report form in conformance to traffic rules and regulations.
• Performing other tasks such as photocopying documents and assisting in seed production operations where applicable.
• Performing any other duties assigned to you from time to time by the designated supervisor.
Minimum skills, qualifications and experience• Ordinary level certificate and above with a valid driving license [class CH and
above} and must have more than 5 years’ experience driving vehicles in a very busy environment (preferably in big agricultural projects}.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary/cultural team, good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated defensive driving skills.
