Procurement Officer

Description:

  • To ensure effective suppliers management

    Responsibilities

  • Obtaining prices from local suppliers (3 quotations) for requisitioned equipment.
  • Print and obtain signatures for Local Purchase Orders.
  • Prepare necessary documents for Supplier Evaluations.
  • Follow up with suppliers after LPO has been issued.
  • Update price lists.
  • Purchasing of all items required by the various departments.
  • Ensure all good purchased are of good quality from approved suppliers.
  • Coordinate stock taking.
  • Follow up with suppliers and documents for foreign orders.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies
  • 3 years in local and oversea sourcing
  • Member of a professional body
