Scholarships for Study in Africa

I have tried my level best to apply for scholarship but all of them were unsuccessful.

I would like to take this opportunity ask if there is special consideration during selection of the candidates.

Currently I'm finalizing my Matsers(Masters of Science in Integrated Environmental Management) at University of Dar es salaam, unfortunately I dont have sponsor and the bad things is that my beloved father who was paying fees and other cost has passed away at the end of last month.

Would you please give me clear explanation in order to be successful in scholarship application
