Aim of the Job
Ensuring that an organization’s accounting function operates efficiently & effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customers Invoice processing from SAGE system.
Accounts receivable reconciliation
Accounts Payable reconciliation
Debt collections
Deposits of all collections from customers
Petty cash administration and posting of the same to Sage system
VAT reconciliation
Filing and payments of Statutory deductions
Maintenance of Accounts department files
Any other duty given by Superiors
Key Result Areas
Book Keeping
Record maintenance
Reporting
Key Performance Indicators
Ensure that Customer invoices are sent on time with no delays
All reconciliations contain only current items and are finalized by the 10TH of the following month
Debtors and creditors listing to be ready by the 10TH day of the following month
Ensure that statutory deductions-are paid on or before Deadline date of every month
Ensure that VAT reconciliation is reconciled by 15Th of every month
Job Requirements
BA degree in Accounting from accredited University, with proven experience in accounting of Minimum 4 years
Able to work independently with Ethiopian Revenue, Banks, Employee pension Authority
Experience in FMCG is advantageous
