Job Description

Salini Impregilo S.p.A, the EPC contractor of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project (GERDP), would like to invite qualified and experienced candidates for the following position;

Job Title/Position: Planning Engineer
Application Deadline: Until filled

Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent

Age: 26-35 years old

Required No: 1

Duty Location: Guba Woreda, Benishangual Gumuz Regional State (Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project). For those applicants that will be shortlisted for interview or practical test which will be carried out at the project site, located at Guba Woreda, transportation, accommodation and meal services will be provided.

Job Requirements

A degree in Civil engineering or related from a recognized institution

At least 2 years working experience of project control activities like planning and scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting etc.

Knowledge of Primavera P6 and other Office software like MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Basic Knowledge of

AutoCAD.

Excellent communication skills.

Outstanding organizational skills.

Reliable with a keen eye for detail.

Job Duties;

Take out the quantities from construction drawings and update the budget/forecast items.

To develop/maintain work breakdown structure, activities codes, create logics and load resources in the program.

To update site progress based on time and resource and prepare daily, weekly, fortnightly reports.

Keep track of the actual vs planned dates of activities relevant to their resources.

Job Requirements
