Job Description

Salini Impregilo S.p.A, the EPC contractor of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project (GERDP), would like to invite qualified and experienced candidates for the following position;

Job Title/Position: Medical Laboratory Technician

Application Deadline: 21st March 2019

Employment Type: Full Time/Open-ended contract

Gender: Male/Female

Age: 25-40 years old

Duty Location: Guba Woreda, Benishangual Gumuz Regional State (Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project). For those applicants selected for interview or practical test which is carried out at the project site, found in Guba Woreda, transportation, accommodation and meal services will be provided.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Health Institution,

The ideal candidate MUST be licensed as ‘Senior Medical Laboratory Technician’,

5 years and above relevant work experience in Medical Laboratory from a reputable organization,

A conversant candidate with vibrant ability in Clinical Chemistry tests and procedures like successfully performing Bacteriological tests, Virological tests, Mycologic tests, Hematological tests, Serological tests, immune Hematological tests, and so on.

Good inclination of working in team environment and strong skill of communicating with others,

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Laboratory Application Software,

Good command of spoken and written English will be an added advantage.
