Sacco Internal Auditor Jobs in Kenya

Reporting to Head Internal Audit, this position assists the Head of Internal Audit in
carrying out routine and planned audits in the Sacco.

The position holder participates in
audit investigations and carrying out special audits as assigned from time to time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assists the Head of Internal Audit in, analyzing the Sacco’s financial, operational
    and management processes and system.
  • Evaluates the adequacy of system design, risk management and internal control
    framework in meeting business, operational and control objectives.
  • Assists in the investigation of significant suspected fraudulent activities within
    the Sacco and notify Management and the audit committee of the results.
  • Participates in the review and monitoring of employee accounts, maintaining
    strict confidentiality and ascertain reasons for questionable transactions.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Internal Audit database / templates, electronic
    and manual filing and diary systems.
  • Assists the Head of Internal Audit in the preparation of Audit Reports
  • Assists the Head of Internal Audit in undertaking projects reviews
  • Undertakes special audit as directed by Head of Internal Audit
  • Provides value added internal consulting services.
  • Conducts routine credit reviews
  • Undertakes any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Candidate should have: -

  • 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Management, Business &
    Information Technology or any relevant field.
  • Professionally, a CPA(K). Member of ICPAK and IIA

  • Knowledge of Accounting Software
  • Report writing
  • Investigation skills
