Rushere SACCO is one of the leading Financial institutions in Uganda with six branches and Head office in Rushere Town Council-Kiruhura District and gives equal employment opportunities to all. Rushere SACCO thus calls for suitably Qualified candidates to occupy the following vacancies.

Responsibilities

  • Heading the internal audit department so as to maintain an efficient and effective internal audit unit.
  • Preparing annual and quarterly work plans for the internal audit unit to ensure optimal deployment of resources to priority audit areas.
  • Preparing internal audit monthly reports for submission to the Audit committee giving a copy to the General Manager.
  • Preparing internal audit quarterly reports for submission to the Board within one month at the end of each quarter.
  • Reviewing the financial and accounting systems in each branch and establishment of the SACCO to ensure that they are adequate, effective and conform to financial regulations of Rushere SACCO.
  • Evaluating internal operations and controls (policies and procedures) at least once a month and make accounting and procedural recommendations regarding such internal controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors.
