Rural Electrification Agency Senior Construction Engineer - Project Coordinator Jobs in Uganda

The Government of Uganda represented by the Rural Electrification Agency has allocated funds for the implementation of the project for bridging the gap between demand and supply through the accelerated rural electrification program.

Through this project, all unserved Sub-county headquarters and any local government administrative structure above the Sub-county will be connected to the national electricity grid.

This will go a long way in growing electricity consumption in readiness for the increased national generation capacity.
The three-year project is to be implemented concurrently in four regions of the country, with each region operating independently through respective regional administrative units.

The principle role of the coordinator shall be to support the technical teams execute their functions efficiently and effectively. The coordinator shall be the contract manager.

The coordinator shall monitor the project execution progress to ensure delivery of a quality project within the specified time-frame and available resources while emphasizing stakeholder involvement and participation.
