(iii)Farm Manager – Scale RU 12
An officer at this level will be responsible for overall policy and administration of the farm functions. Specifically, in directing, planning, budgeting, implementing the decision of the farm committee.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Management or related field from a recognized institution;
Master’s degree in Agribusiness and Management or related field from a recognized institution;
Six (6) years relevant work experience;
Training in Public Relations;
Computer Literacy.
(iv)Senior Administrative Assistant I – Scale RU 10
A staff at this level will normally work under the general guidance of a more experienced staff at Faculty, Schools, Academic and Administrative Division of the University where a staff will be exposed to broad administrative dynamics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution;
At least 3 years relevant post-qualification experience;
CPS II or any other relevant professional qualification;
Computer literacy.
Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
(v) Senior Assistant Secretary – Scale RU 6
An officer at this level will perform the duties of recording dictation in shorthand and transcribing them; typing from drafts of recording from dictating machines, and operating other related machines.
She/he will be responsible for the custody of documents and files, including confidential materials; making appointment; dealing with inquiries; answering and making telephone calls; receiving and attending to visitors; handling mail and writing simple routine correspondences. She will also be responsible for supervision and guidance of junior staff in the office as well as ensuring security of office.
Requirements
KCSE;
Diploma in Secretarial Studies
or equivalent with six (6) years relevant work experience OR
Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies with three (3) years relevant work experience;
Computer literacy.
(vi)Legal Clerk – Scale RU 7
Legal clerk is responsible for following a filling system and organizing records, such as letters, legal document, case files, correspondence, invoices and memoranda according to that system. Locates and retrieves requested files, as well as prepare legal documents indices, file folders and labels.
They may be responsible for keeping files up-to-date. In addition to filling, legal file clerks may perform other clerical duties, such as handling mail, faxing, using a copy machine, maintaining a calendar, managing office equipment and ordering supplies
Requirements
Diploma in Law, paralegal studies, any social sciences or business related courses
At least 5 years relevant experience as a legal clerk in law firm or a legal department of reputable organization
Interested in Law
Able to think logically and clearly
Good knowledge of English language
Computer literate
