Job Description

The Laboratory Scientist will be expected to provide first-class services by applying skills and scientific knowledge to support accurate medical diagnoses and the wellbeing of our patients.

In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and preventing disease.

Job Description

Collect relevant samples from patients using the right equipments and techniques.

Explain sample collecting procedures and time frame for result collection to ensure a smooth process.

Receive, organise and store test samples in accordance with safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.

Perform diagnostic tests on samples collected,
Review and document results for accuracy.

Prepare reagents

Perform and document equipment maintenance

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science

Valid practicing license

Post NYSC with 1 year+ experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.

Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Ability to both function independently and collaborate with a team.

Must be resident in Abuja and comfortable commuting to work in dei-dei.
