ET Fresh General Trading is an established UAE importing company and is a joint partnership between the U.S. and Ethiopian shareholders.
ET Fresh's mission is to import and distribute fresh products sourced from East Africa to markets around the world.
Currently, we import different products such as tahini, vacuum-packed meat, avocados, and coffee from East Africa to the UAE market.
RENEW is an impact investment firm with its largest office is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where it manages its investment operations and supports its portfolio companies’ growth.
RENEW has closed an investment in ET Fresh. In support of ET Fresh, we are recruiting for Supply Chain and Customer Relationship position.
Job Requirements
Accountable for:
Hitting the annual sales target: Ensuring that the company successfully exports different products to the UAE and/or African markets.
Timely and professional communications: Ensuring timely interactions between supplier and ET Fresh agents as measured by responses with proper spelling and cordial, professional communications within 1 hour of emails and phone calls
Customer / Agent Satisfaction: Ensuring that the agents get what they ordered when they ordered it as measured by customer satisfaction scores conducted periodically after orders received and by feedback from agents.
Responsible for:
Liaising between suppliers in Ethiopia and agents in the UAE - ensuring timely and professional communications and making sure both parties know the status of the orders - no surprises.
Working with the supplier to make sure all export documentation for goods leaving Ethiopia is prepared accurately.
Working with the supplier to make sure export documents are sent out timely.
Reviewing all orders before they are shipped to ensure they are prepared as per the customers'/agents'
orders.
Working with customs clearance agents to ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers.
Finding new suppliers in Ethiopia.
Screening new suppliers to ensure they meet quality, volume, and specification standards.
Providing weekly plans (Monday), and results (Friday) to RENEW
Accomplishing those company OKRs and annual goals as outlined in the AMP, that is assigned to you.
Providing timely reports to RENEW.
Updating sourcing pipeline regularly.
Updating sales pipeline regularly.
Writing SOPs and presenting those for approval to RENEW.
Preparing and providing reports to the Board.
Corporate expectations:

Dressing and communicating with all stakeholders professionally.
Preparing for meetings and owning and completing all the next steps assigned to you.
Understanding and implementing the company's policies.
Suggesting improvements to RENEW to make the company work better.
Additional Skills
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience in managing QA/QC.
Experience working in a company exporting to the UAE would be a plus.
Job requirement
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, customer service, and supply chain.
BA degree in Sales and Marketing, economics, or any other related fields.
Expert level sales skills
Experience in the service sector
Demonstrated ability to write and speak English is mandatory
