Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with wastewater treatment process, and storm water and sludge management

Manage grease traps to ensure they are attended to without fail

Work closely with the QAM to ensure external analysis is carried out as scheduled without fail

Manage all the water coming into the ponds in good time and all the waste water being released to the municipal for compliance

Maintain open communications with the engineering team regarding the treatment process and pump stations operation and malfunctions, as well as make recommendations for repairs and improvements to these systems

Maintain cleanliness of the ponds and the Effluent treatment compound at all times

Record keeping and documentation of the treatment plant

Skills and Qualifications

Certificate/Diploma in Waste water treatment

At least 2-3 years of experience preferably in a Dairy plant
