Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with expertise in the industrial water sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our industrial water solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Identify Sales Opportunities: Proactively identify potential clients and projects in the industrial sector requiring water treatment solutions.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and providing exceptional service.

  • Technical Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert on industrial water treatment technologies and advise clients on appropriate solutions to address their specific requirements.

  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate the value of our products and services.

  • Quotation and Proposal Generation: Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.

  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the industrial water sector.

  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives within the assigned territory.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent ability to maintain solid client relationships and establish industry partnerships.

  • Strong competency in negotiating and closing business deals.

  • Exceptional Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with integrated business management and CRM software.

  • Strong organisation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Effective verbal and listening skills.

  • Must be able to show initiative.

  • Computer literacy in the Google workspace tools and experience with Cloud computing, such as Docusign.

    Qualifications:

  • BSC Chemical Engineering or equivalent and sales/marketing related qualifcation preferable.

  • 3+ years experience in the water industry.

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience with a proven track record in new business sales.

  • Experience with identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
