Our Client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated QA Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a proven track record of ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Quality Management:

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Establish and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) to monitor and improve product and service quality.

Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team and across the organization.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the quality control process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and corrective actions.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

Manage regulatory inspections and audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Quality Metrics:

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and report on trends and deviations.

Implement data-driven decision-making processes to improve quality outcomes.

Customer Focus:

Collaborate with customer-facing teams to address customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.

Ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into the quality improvement process.

Key Skills:

Quality Assurance Expertise:

Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control processes, preferably in a related industry.

Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing QA team.

Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of industry-specific regulations and quality standards.

Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive quality improvements.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality objectives and results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.

Food Technology / Food Science qualification.

Professional certifications related to quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) are desirable.

Familiarity with quality management software and tools is a plus.

5 - 10yrs experience.

Food Processing / Manufacturing experience.
