Our client in the meat industry is looking for an IT Manager who can effectively integrate technology solutions into their operations, streamline processes, and ensure robust cybersecurity measures, while also providing strong leadership and strategic direction to the IT team.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, industry-specific knowledge, and a strong understanding of how technology can optimize supply chain management, production processes, and quality control in the meat industry.

Responsibilities:

Managing and coordinating information technology projects, including system installations, upgrades, and maintenance.

Leading and mentoring IT staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations.

Developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business objectives.

Preparing and managing the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Ensuring the security of the IT infrastructure, including data protection and disaster recovery plans.

Negotiating with vendors and managing contracts for IT services and equipment.

Overseeing the IT support team to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues.

Ensuring IT practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Keeping abreast of new technology trends to enhance business performance and IT operations.

Key Skills:

Strong leadership skills

to manage and motivate the IT team.

In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff and stakeholders.

Proficiency in managing multiple IT projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate IT systems and implement improvements.

Ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

Relevant technical certifications can be advantageous.

Atleast 5 year's experience.
