The Records Management Assistant will report to the Records Management Officer.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Implementing records management policies and procedures;
Ensuring proper handling of documents;
Effective mail management;
Classifying and indexing of records;
Ensuring security of files and information; and
Updating the records management systems.
Person Specifications
Diploma in Records Management / Information Science / Library Science from a recognized Institution;
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya; and
Must be a citizen of Kenya.
Key Competencies and Skills
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills;
Excellent organizing skills;
High level of integrity;
Must be a team player; and
Proficiency in computer applications.
