A real estate firm in Nairobi wishes to recruit qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Legal Assistant

Responsibilities

He/She will draft and verifying all agreements, contracts and leases;

Ensure legal, statutory and contractual compliance for all the companies transactions;

Preparing files and maintain legal documents for the company as required;

Carry out legal research as required and register legal documents with relevant registries.

Advise on all matters regarding the law that affect various areas of the company‘s operations:

Requirements

The applicant must have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university;

Diploma in Law (KSL) and Admission as an Advocate with a current practicing Certificate;

Excellent conveyancing and negotiation skills;

Minimum of l-year post admission experience in Conveyancing;

A team player willing to learn, adapt and work with minimum supervision;

Be Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
