The RCL FOODS Talent Team is looking for a forward thinking Supply Planner with a high attention to detail to join our Sugar Business Unit. The role will report to the Sales and Operations Planning Manager and will be based at Malelane.
The purpose of the role is to conduct production scheduling and material requirements planning for Malalane & MSP.
Minimum Requirements
B Degree in Finance/Supply Chain Management/ Industrial Engineering.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Production Planning.
Knowledge in Mill, Production and Storage capacities, inventory, and ERP systems.
Pro-active, pay strict attention to detail and accuracy.
Customer driven.
Dynamic, action and detail orientated and well organised.
The individual must be results and deadline driven.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.
Duties & Responsibilities
Synchronize production with sales, stock planning, warehouse space and sugar supply.
Plan weekly packaging production and communication of Planning for 12-to-24-month period.
Packing material requirement planning.
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Production Planners as far as short-term production plans and packing safety stock holding are concerned.
Stock health management in as far as the quarterly review of safety
stock targets and the review of aged stock are concerned.
Maintain packing material future prices in material masters for standard costing.
Manage product data catalogue.
Forecast & Planning Malalane & MSP:
Synchronize production with sales, stock planning, warehouse space & sugar supply.
Plan & coordinate daily & weekly packaging production.
Communication of Planning.
Material Requirement Planning:
Packaging Material Planning.
Control Rework list and do stock adjustments.
Count Packaging Material stocks.
Paper store stock Value.
Scrap Packaging Material waist.
Manage Master Data for the PP & MM Modules in SAP:
Created master data for new products and packaging materials.
Maintain packaging material future prices in material masters for standard cost.
Create & maintain product data for the use in SAP master data & sales listings.
Manage Product Data Catalogue:
Log new Selati Products.
Maintain data on Catalogue.
