Ramogi Institute of Advanced Technology Driver Jobs in Kenya

Requirements

A minimum period of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience;

Minimum thirty (30) years of age

A minimum KCSE mean Grade D (plain) or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

Valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for Class BCE

Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)

Valid PSV license

Willingness to work beyond official working hours and during weekends

Added Advantage:

A Certificate of Suitability test for drivers from Ministry of Roads and Public Works

A Defensive Driving Certificate from Automobile Association of Kenya

Proven knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics

A First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle

Keeping up to date work tickets for vehicles

Submitting regular reports on motor vehicle assigned

Reporting any mechanical/accident problems

Maintaining proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle

Ensuring safety of vehicle on and off the road

Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles

Ensuring safety of passenger and/or good therein

Any other duties assigned
