Raising Gabdho Procurement Intern Jobs in Uganda



Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the development of procurement plans, strategies, and policies
  • Researching and analyzing market trends, suppliers, and products
  • Preparing and issuing requests for proposals, quotes, and bids
  • Assisting with the evaluation of proposals and quotes
  • Assisting with the negotiation and drafting of contracts and agreements
  • Maintaining and updating the procurement database and records
  • Assisting with the tracking and reporting of procurement activities and metrics
  • Participating in supplier performance evaluations
  • Updating and maintaining the assets.

    Deliverables

  • Supplier research and analysis reports
  • Comparison of quotes from different suppliers
  • Recommendations for procurement processes improvements
  • Summaries of procurement meetings
  • Reports on market trends and changes
  • Assistance in preparing procurement documents and contracts
  • Presentations on procurement topics to internal stakeholders
  • Updates to procurement databases and systems
  • Keep the asset register updated.

    Requirements

  • Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in business administration,
    supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in microsoft office and other relevant software programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Some positions may also require experience with procurement software or systems.
