Job DescriptionResponsibilities and Duties:You will be responsible to lead the camera and photoshoot department to capture high quality and attractive images for commercial, film, social media, or TV broadcasting.
You’ll be an integral part of our mission to spread information, content and striking visuals.
As a cameraman/director of photography/cinematographer you need to have patience and a steady hand and quick reflexes. We want you to be comfortable around expensive and delicate equipment as well as able to concentrate and attend to detail. If you’re passionate about the job and can think of ways to add creativity to your work.
You are required to learn and handle all the equipment with delicacy. You are required to shoot, capture and edit all your own work including understanding lighting during production.
You will work closely with directors to determine all aspects of shots.
You will provide practical and creative input to scene planning.
You will select, assemble and position equipment (cameras, lighting stands, software etc.)
You will prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements.
You will shoot scenes according to requirements.
You will capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position.
You will collaborate with make-up artists, lighting and sound staff to produce the best final effect.
You will resolve technical or practical issues that may arise during production. You must be able to think fast and come up with solutions.
You will edit footage as needed.
You need excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage or at the very least be very passionate to learn fast to be successful.
You need to have the ability to understand and follow camera scripts.
You must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to think and act quickly.
You must be a
team player with a positive attitude that is attentive to all the details.
Physical strength is also very important so that you can carry heavy equipment and have stamina.
Excellent color vision and hearing is a must.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To be successful as a Film Editor, you must demonstrate excellent time management skills.
Able to turn a vision into reality, and be highly artistic.
Exceptional video editing skills, a creative approach to problem-solving
Able to work long hours especially when we have deadlines to meet.
Reading the scripts to understand the vision of the Director.
Visiting set locations prior filming.
Reviewing footage and selecting scenes according to the vision.
Trimming segments of footage.
Color grading.
Collaborating with Sound Editors, Sound Effects Editors, and Cinematographers.
Making revisions as per the request of the Director.
Required for you to have strong knowledge of editing tools, techniques, and software.
You must be familiar with camera equipment.
You should have critical and analytical skills.
Great patience and concentration.
Required for you to have organizational and time management skills.
