What do you mean by quota system. I was in a private school and I got 300 marks. Will I get a place to join form 1 in a public school?

A. The quota admissions policy requires that a specified number or percentage of public primary school pupils get admitted to public secondary schools. A pupil from a public school with 300 marks has a higher chance of getting a good public secondary school than a pupil with 300 marks from a private school.
