Quantity Surveying Company Administrator Job in Nairobi, Kenya



We are a rapidly growing mid-sized Quantity Surveying consultancy firm based in Nairobi and we are seeking to recruit a competent and qualified person to fill-in the position of Company Administrator.

Duties

  • Management of office resources – Personnel and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment
  • Handling external or internal communication and/or management systems
  • Managing clerical or other administrative staff
  • Organizing, arranging and coordinating meetings
  • Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post
  • Assist in Preparing tender and contract documents for construction works,
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing tenders for construction works;
  • Maintaining awareness of the different ongoing projects within the office,
  • Represent the company at different project meetings when called upon to do so,
  • Manage and coordinate all IT operations within the establishment
  • Handle all office procurements – stationery, machinery, softwares, etc
  • Lead and coordinate all office operations

    Minimum qualification

  • Diploma in Business Administration / Construction Management / Project Management.
  • Degree in Construction Management shall be an added advantage.
  • Three years’ experience in a busy environment. Experience in construction related firms shall be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft office and other computer aided softwares
  • Certificate in ICT
    related courses and relevant experience shall be an added advantage
    High level of integrity
  • Keen eye to detail and demonstrable follow up skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work within set & strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work planning skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent report writing ,presentation skills and capable of adequately representing the organization
  • Willingness and ability to take and give instructions
  • Demonstrable ability to work in team
  • Salary: Negotiable and commensurate with qualifications
