Public Service Commission Laboratory Technologist III Jobs in Kenya

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

a Diploma in any of the following fields: Applied Science (Chemistry, Analytical
Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Physics) from a recognized institution;

OR

a Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering, Earth Science or Technology from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.

An officer at this level will work
under the supervision and guidance of a more senior and experienced officer.

Specific duties and responsibility will include:-

collecting, registering, drilling cores analyzing sample;

carrying out simple field investigations;

undertaking analytical and/or diagnostic work on materials, geological concrete, water, rock, and bitumen samples; and

maintaining of laboratory equipment for scientific and civil engineering work.
