[Job description

  • The successful incumbent will be responsible for office management, client service and administration.

  • You will also do new business and marketing plans implementations and you will oversee the reception duties.

    Responsibilities

  • Gather policy information and compile a summary of information

  • Research product information

  • Prepare and implement life/investment e.g. proposals

  • Process new application and quotations

  • Attend to and solve client enquiries (all existing business enquiries)

  • Diary management for new and existing business cases and the Wealth adviser

  • Arrange appointments between Wealth adviser and clients

  • Prepare investment review appointments

  • Maintain the CRM system

  • Rebalance and maintain existing portfolios

  • Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly statements

  • Manage administrative documentation (detailed records)

  • Build and maintain good working relationships

  • Recording details of transactions

  • Maintain service level agreement deadlines

  • Manage policy renewals

  • Identify/optimize business opportunities from existing clients

  • Ensure FAIS Compliance

  • Load new/existing business policies

  • Administration of welcome packs to new clients

  • Manage client retention

    Minimum requirements

  • CFP (or will complete in 1 year)

  • 3 years relevant work experience within the financial services industry

  • Proficient in both spoken and written
  • English and at least one other of the official South African languages

  • Computer literacy (MS Office including Advanced MS Excel)

    Recommended requirements

  • Completed Bachelor of Commerce in Finance e.g. BCom (Finance / Business Finance / Investments / Financial Planning Law / Financial Sciences / Investment Management) or BCom (Economics)
