Principal Social Welfare Officer Jobs in Kenya
Requirements for Appointment Have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in the following disciplines; sociology, physiology, social work, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Have served as a Chief Social Welfare Officer in a comparable and relevant position in the public service or private sector for a minimum period of three (3) years.
Must have attended a management course for a period not less than 3 weeks in a recognized institution.
Have demonstrated professional administrative capability in the general organization and management of the social welfare functions.
Be fully conversant with the Government Policy in Social Welfare.
Be computer literate.
Additional Requirements
All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution
Tax compliance certificates
Clearance from HELB where necessary
Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
Clearance from the CRB.
Certificate of Good Conduct from the police.
