Primefuels (Kenya) Limited is a transport company based in Mombasa doing both Local and Transit delivery within East and Central Africa.
Primefuels (Kenya) Limited seeks to recruit dynamic, self-driven, disciplined and highly experienced Accountant.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely posting of intercompany payables, proper account reconciliation and timely dispute resolution.
Ensure all IC GLs are reconciled on timely basis.
Ensure all banking payments are approved, posted in the ERP (SAP) and uploaded on the bank’s portal.
Ensure ERP bank and bank balances as per bank tally on daily basis.
Payroll management and ensure statutory dues are paid on time.
Assist Finance Manager with period end closing tasks and in maintaining up to date balance sheet account schedules.
Ensure proper filing of accounting documents and other company documents.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial information.
Provide assistance to external auditors.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting plus full professional Accountancy.
At least 5 years overall experience in finance.
Must have a CPA (K) certification.
Member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or recognized equivalent.
ERP (SAP) knowledge.
Computer skills.
Competencies
