Our client, a leading manufacturing company is seeking to recruit a Preventive Maintenance Engineer.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, enforce and coordinate the maintenance schedule
  • Manage maintenance cost and budget
    Autonomous maintenance of factory machinery and other plant facilities.
  • To champion environmental health & safety activities and standards, and to support the factory in achieving high safety standards.
  • Assist in development of site master plan and glide path from the lean manufacturing diagnostics report.
  • Ensure satisfactory completion of projects within agreed budget, to agreed time schedules and to agreed specifications.
  • Lead maintenance, annual overhaul and modification projects of plant and quality control equipment to guarantee attainment of consistent optimum productivity and quality products.
  • Effectively manage the department’s expenditure and assets within the agreed budget
  • Managing and development of engineering service providers to ensure delivery of quality service according to agreed specifications.
  • Improve equipment availability to support timely achievement of processing schedules and devise measures to achieve and sustain target production efficiencies and quality
  • Prepare Purchase Requisitions for services and engage vendors for to execute timely.
  • Scope and
    prepare maintenance procedures for faster/safe execution.
  • Organize plant safety walkabouts within the plant.
  • Manage the Safety Improvement Record data bank by tracking/Closing all safety related actions.
  • Prepare Safety Work Permits to enable a safe working environment.
  • Prepare stock spares in advance to enable faster and timely execution of maintenance.

    Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
    Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar field
    Strong man-management flair
  • Experiential skills on Preventive
  • Maintenance and autonomous Management
