Pressure System Mechanic Jobs in Eldoret, Kenya

We are seeking an individual who is dynamic and passionate about delivering results to join our Vehicle Repair Garage.

Duties & Responsibilities

Inspection, repair, diagnosis and location of all mechanical difficulties on trucks,

Carry out repair on truck pressure system for Mercedes Actros, Axor, Scania Trucks, while ensuring zero repeat jobs,

Develop and distribute daily work plan assignments and ensure completion,

Train, motivate and evaluate assigned personnel,

Work with other mechanics to complete work within the assigned timeframe,

Oversees welding works being done for trucks assigned,

Operate assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner and according to established policies and procedures,

Adhere to all safety and Health regulations for the workshop,

Maintaining day to day internal controls of for the workshop systems,

Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Person Specification

Grade III Artisan – Mechanic,

Working experience as a Pressure System Mechanic working with Mercedes Actros & Axor Trucks, Scania Trucks etc

5 years working experience, 2 of which should be in a similar position,

Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation,

Maintain effective communication with colleagues, both junior and senior,

Respond appropriately to environmental and safety hazards and function effectively in emergency situations,

Utilize company systems effectively to ensure economical use of equipment and supply

Be creative and innovative in minimizing costs,
